Water Charge
Not to be confused with the Fire Charge, Wind Charge, or Earth Charge.
A Water Charge is a throwable item made from brine rods. It deals a small amount of damage but a lot of knockback.
Obtaining
Water charges can be obtained by crafting them. It can be crafted by putting an oxygen block in the middle of the crafting grid and putting four Kelp above, left, right, and bottom of it. This gives 4 water charges.
Usage
A water charge can be used by interacting with it in hand. After it is thrown, the earth charge is consumed.
It has a cooldown of five seconds (100 ticks) before it can be used again. The cooldown is shown in the hotbar where the item is. Items of the
same kind will also be affected by the cooldown.
Behavior
Upon throwing the projectile, the projectile will fly through the air until it hits the ground. It will deal up to 3.5 hearts (7 health) of damage.
When it hits the floor, it will sit there for 2 seconds (40 ticks) before exploding. The explosion consists of a small explosion of bubbles that does
a small amount of damage but heavy knockback to nearby entities.
However, when the water charge directly makes contact with an entity, it will instantly explode. It engulfs the entity with bubbles as it knocks the entity back.
Throwing a water charge outside the water results in a failure to explode. The projectile will hit the ground and turn back into an item. The cooldown
is not affected, and it will still be a 5-second (100 ticks) wait.
